CapTel 800 is short for Captioned Telephone.
CapTel 800 phone users place a call in the same
way as dialing a traditional phone. CapTel connects automatically to a service that uses voice recognition technology to display verbatim captions of the
conversation on the telephone’s screen, allowing
you to hear and read everything the person on the
other line says to you!

Set Up Requirements:

• Line #1:*
  • Analog
  • VoIP, DSL or digital cable phone service
    with digital filter

• Line #2 (optional):
  • 2nd analog telephone line.*

  What is 2-Line CapTel?

*  Not compatible with PBX system
    unless an analog port is available.

People who use digital cable or VoIP telephone
service should consider the CapTel 800i.
